Phase 1: The Consultation
Our journey begins with an in-depth consultation. During this meeting, we’ll walk through your space together, discuss your design goals, and start brainstorming ideas to bring your vision to life. This initial session usually lasts up to two hours. To make it as productive as possible, we’ll ask you to complete a checklist beforehand. This includes filling out a questionnaire, gathering inspiration photos, and more. Our goal for this meeting is for our designer to fully understand what you love and don't love about your home and what your goals are for improvement.
Phase 2: The Design Process
Once we’ve completed the consultation, we move into the exciting design phase. This is where we’ll create a custom design plan tailored to your space. The design phase includes two key meetings:
Design Board Meeting: In this meeting, you will be presented with three “inspiration designs” that have been prepared just for you. These will include mood boards, drawings, and potential selections for furnishings and finishes. This is a collaborative session where we refine your preferences and make sure we’re aligned on the direction of your home before moving forward.
Final Design Approval: Once we’ve gone through the design board meeting and have a clearly defined style for your home, we’ll finalize the design plan. This includes detailed drawings, a list of finish selections, a curated list of furnishings, and a well-rounded budget. At the final meeting, we’ll review everything in detail. Once you approve the design, we move to the next phase: execution.
Phase 3: The Execution of Your Design
The final phase is all about bringing your design to life. This phase may include working with a builder or contractor to ensure that construction stays on track and is completed according to plan or ordering the necessary materials and furnishings. We will oversee the entire process to make sure your design is executed successfully.
Once all the materials and furnishings are in place, we’ll arrange the installation of all new furniture and accessories. We will also style your home to ensure every detail is thoughtfully placed and perfectly aligned with your vision. From start to finish, we’ll ensure the final result is exactly as you imagined, down to the last detail.
