This Harbor Hill remodel shows that smart updates can fix builder oversights and elevate daily living. We expanded the island and added storage for crafts, carried a beautiful blue color scheme throughout, replaced poorly sealed counters with durable quartz, and redesigned the fireplace and hood for a cohesive, functional, and inviting family space. As always, it was a pleasure to work with Kelley Home Services on this project.

The multi tone blue backsplash made the space feel more welcoming!

We can't even find the words for this transformation. All we can say is go look at the mantle in the before picture. It's unbelievably better.

The kitchen was not serving this family well. The island was built entirely too shallow. Water from the sink was regularly splashing all the way over to the bar stools, the counters were poorly sealed and stained easily, and the all white color scheme felt cold and uninspired.

This fireplace's biggest problem was its mantle. Not only was it too small, but it also didn't seem very strong. On top of that the tile surround did not fit with the rest of the home.
